Welcome to my DogBlog

We hope you enjoy reading all about the daft things I get up to in our current blog, or check out the archives...

19th May 2012 - Aunty Katy has finally popped and had her puppy. Jack Joseph was born on the 8th and weighed in at 7lb13 - a big boy! Of course we had to road test him to check we wanted to keep him, but he passed his first test with flying colours - here he is having his first pint!!!!!

15th May 2012 - Seeing as I have been struggling to jump up into the back of Mum's Honda CRV, she has decided to downsize. The savings in tax and petrol had nothing to do with her decision of course. So off we went to find a new car.

We met some lovely chaps from Bristol Street Ford in Stroud who spent ages showing us lots of lovely cars, and we finally decided on a Fiesta Zetec. They totally understood that my comfort and safety in the back seat was paramount and allowed me to try it out for size - despite my tendancy to shed white hair all over the place.

Mum loves her new car and was really impressed with the service we got - including a very generous part exchange price for the Honda. She has also, very sensibly, gone for this special Diamondbrite finish which is supposed to protect the inside from muck (that's me then) plus mean you don't have to wash the outside so often. Seeing as the Honda was an absolute disgrace we thought this was a good plan. Mum has vowed to keep it nice - which will last about 2 weeks knowing her!!

So - if you are thinking about a new car, we can certainly recommend the Ford garage in Stroud - just mention the dogblog to ensure great service and a good deal. The Sales Manager, Jamie, even has 2 working cockers of his own, so he must be a good bloke!

10th May 2012 - The nice people at Pedigree have asked us to go on a 6 week trial and report our findings. They suggested that the product would be perfect for me and I am an ideal tester. Is it a beauty dog product, or a test your dog brain sort of thing? - no - its Joint Care+ which is a supplement for creaky old duffers (like me)!

So far we are about 2 weeks into the trial and I must admit that I have had a bit more get up and go about me. Mum has been trying to take video's of me which we then send back to Pedigree, showing my progress across the trial period. Trouble is it took Mum a week to figure out how to put the battery and memory card into the camera! When we have finished the trial Mum will put a full review up in our Products section - possibly with video clips if she can get them to work!
